salve ragazze,
dopo aver risolto con il DMA ritorno con un altro, forse banale aiuto.
Ho compilato X.org, ho installato i driver ati proprietari e ho aggiornato le opengl.
Dopo aver configurato X.org sia con fglrxconfig e anche dopo aver provato a inserire i parametri trovati in https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=121789 ho il seguente errore:

non riesco a capire dove sia l'errore.
qualcuno che ha una scheda video simile mi sa aiutare?
(come ultima opzione posso anche lanciare una knoppix e da li prendere il file di configurazione, me lo consigliate?!)

penso si tratti semplicemente di modificare la linea
in
Oppure mettere l'indirizzo giusto (che trovi lanciando il comando lspci; se non hai tale comando, installa le pciutils)
PS: la prox volta dai un'occhiata in giro per i forum prima di postare... credo che questo problema sia presente in giusto quel migliaio abbondante di topic 
PPS: siccome usi una radeon 9100, ti consiglierei di usare il driver DRM, invece che quello proprietario ATI... Ho notato, almeno nel mio caso (e altri lo confermano), le performance e la stabilità sono migliori... poi prova un po' tu
