|
|
Bit of a newby question:
When I boot off ActiveCD I get a good looking splash background, and mouse copy/paste support etc. Whenever I manually build my kernel I get a lower res screen, no splash, no mouse support.
What do I need to add into my kernel (or configure) to get the splash mouse etc please?
Cheers

Ahh, yes. With that advice and a bit of poking around I think I've got it.
Many thanks!

well, while we are at this.. anyone got it to work using 2 graphic cards and 2 monitors? my clone mode works fine, but as soon as i start using framebuffer, and i boot up the system, i get tty1-tty6 all black screen. X working fine, though ;(
my guess is, that the system gets confused because those are 2 different graphic adapters (1 gforce2 using the nvidia driver, and 1 voodo banshee using tdfx). |
