apache2 problems? anyone emerge it recently?

I remember emerging it without problems a couple of times months ago, but now, after a fresh Gentoo install, I get in my apache2 error log:

Check if the directory /var/cache/apache2 exists and if it does check if the apache2 deamon has the rights to write there.

I had this problem also. Just do a mkdir /var/cache/apache2/ as root, and everything should work fine.

BTW, what's up with the apache ebuild? I think I already saw two bugzilla entries for missing directories (involving SSL, and the server keys not getting copied).
