Hi
Yet another iBook runnning gentoo. You can find an article about the installation of Gentoo 2004.3 stage 3 on an iBook G4 at
http://members.fortunecity.com/tinux1/sites/gentoo2004.3_iBookG4.html
In spite of the statement in the Gentoo Handbook it seems not possible to install without a network connection, due to PAM error at first login.
Still missing features:
VGA out
sleep
encrypted /home
bluetooth

That just depends what you're expecting I'm sorry if you are disappointed!
@porodzila
So you didn't run into the PAM error, or you didn't need network for emerge-ing shadow? I tried the latter, but without success.
