emerge system can't download unzip550.tar.gz

It seems that when info-zip.org released unzip551.tar.gz, they removed the source code for unzip550.tar.gz from thier FTP site, which "emerge system" is dependent on, halting the ability to continue Gentoo installation. I have already done a "emerge --sync", but it seems portage has not been updated to reflect the change in version / file name.

I have contacted Hunter Goatley, the web site host, kindly asking him to put it back on the server until portage is updated.

Is anyone else experiencing this difficulty? Does anyone have a quick fix so that I can continue my "emerge system", since the file required is not available?

I have the same problem, i can't download unzip550.tar.gz.
what is the quck fix you were talking about?
