Hi!
Just switched to 2.6-kernel and got a little problem. When booting and loading the kernel I get this output:
Freeing unused memory ...
auto: auto: No such file or directory
Kernel Panic - not syncing: Attempting to kill init!
What do you guys think?

It could be a problem with devfs/udev - depends on what you are using?
I had a similar problem, when playing around with diffrent kernel configurations. It could not start init. But for me it was a problem that i did not run "make clean" before i changed really important stuff in the config. |
