Been following the how-to on http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/qmail-howto.xml but I couldn't send mails.. only to myself (internally). but I could receive mails from outside etc.. at first I though there was something wrong with my setup.. but as I have followed the how-to exactly nothign CAN be wrong..
and then someone said that my ISP didn't allow connections out on port 25.. to avaid spam and stuff and that I had to relay the outgoing mails to smtprelay1.telia.com... how do I do this? because I still want to be able to use my hostname as the smtp server.. just that it relays it to smtprelay1.telia.com
thanks! _________________ >>touch /dev/null |

doesn't anyone have and answer to me? :/
all I need to do is when qmail gets an mail from a host, instead of sending it directly out to it's reciver via port 25 i want to redirect it to smtprelay1.telia.com as that is the only host that can accept connections on port 25 on my isp.. as I have figured it out. _________________ >>touch /dev/null |
