I've gone away for Christmas. Just before i did, I managed to finally get ssh logins working on my gentoo server - it needed to mangle all outgoing packets to "Normal Service" as opposed to "minize delay" which apparently made my modem drop everything.

Anyway, I have two firewall scripts, one to set all the iptables stuff, and one which just clears the tables (turns it off). I have an init.d script which on start runs the first, and on stop runs the second. Stupidly, I only added the TOS line to the start script. I log into my box from 200 miles away, it works. Again, Stupidly, I decide to stop the firewall service, because I wanted to change something and didn't think to restart it. because the TOS change isn't there now, I can't ssh into my box.

Is there any way whatsoever, that i can break into my box to reboot it, or restart the firewall service without ssh? Currently, the firewall is turned off, so it isn't very secure, but the only major daemons running are apache, courier imap and postfix.

I don't think so. Best bet is to call neighbours and instruct them howto reboot the box.
But dude, it's christmas! Holidays! Give the server his rest too! ;-)
