Just emerged gnome 2.8 - cant tell any visual difference?

Emerged gnome 2.8 last night (at least i think i i did, did a "emerge gnome" and the vast majority of things were 2.8.1 r1 or 2.8.1 etc) and cant tell any visual differences.

????

I assume you are comparing to Gnome 2.6, in which case there isn't much of one. The knew things in 2.8 are the Gnome volume manager (uses hal and dbus), a new, simpler panel applet dialog, some new gui system tools, and new handling of mime types.

I think that's most of the major stuff anyway.
