A valid user changes background image for his roaming profile, logs out, and logs in on another workstation, but the bg image he has set before doesn't show up (he gets only a blue background). Now if he goes to change background settings again, he can see the image has in fact been chosen, but it didn't display, nor it is displayed in the little "background preview" window, till he clicks on it.
Has anyone experienced this before?

Yes. Did you upgrade from 2.x to 3.x? I needed to change my profile login path from

to | Code: | | logon path = \\%L\profiles\[b]%U[/b] |
