DOWNLOAD Throttling? got link ?

ive been looking into downlaod throttling.

its for a DHCP/NAT/Firewall server for an old people's home.
(they will have wireless-LAN laptops on their wheelchairs)

i am given the task to make the DNS/NAT/FIREWALL/PROXY which i alreayd have working.

but they also want download throttling, so one of them cant hog the bandwithd with mule/torrent clients.

so far ive searched till my eyes went sore. the problem is: i have to leave documentation so they can rebuild it after i am gone, and leaving a textfile with all script for them to copy/paste is ... sloppy.

so: if anyone can show me a bandwidth throttling GUI, that would be swell.
A console based configable app would be doable also.
and having to copy paste lengths of script is the very LAST resort.


so, people, if you can help me, i'd love to hear.

What you want is a traffic shaping script.
Just check around or search google for wondershaper

problem is, wondershaper is a GUI-less script.

Even if i by some stroke of genius manage to egt it working, i have to write a small manual on how to get it working if they have to do a re-install.

So wondershaper and other such scripts are a LAST LAST resort?

well, even if i did, the people whi i'm making this for dont :S

So script-only is a last resort.
But i'll check into it, as a plan C
