How can I do to load gentoo kernel (not gentoo-fb) but using a different screen resolution (800x600)? |

you can use the "video=" statement plus an appropriate parameter to pass the desired resolution when booting your kernel. this involves compiling framebuffer support into your kernel. the documentation for framebuffer implementation can be found in /usr/src/linux/Documentation/fb _________________ .
