|
|
Successfully installed Gentoo (kernel 2.6.9-r6 using "genkernel all") onto my Dell Latitude laptop. I can not get the Xircom cardbus card to work. During boot I see the following
Code: | Loading Modules. . .
:: Scanning for pcmcia_core... module not found
:: Scanning for yenta_socket... module not found
:: Scanning for i82365... module not found
:: Scanning for ds... module not found |
There's a few others it's not finding but these seem to be key with getting pcmcia up and running. Also, have added "dopcmcia" to the append line in lilo.conf and reran /sbin/lilo.
Have also tried reemerging "pcmcia-cs" after booting from the live cd. Any ideas?

Recompiled with PCMCIA support. Getting the same errors... Any other suggestions? |
