I am not sure of this, but I have heard that windows will wipe out whatever os is there before it is installed, so you should probably do windows and then gentoo, I think. _________________ Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. |

No. I guess I was wrong about windows, but I do remember what really happens *I think * In the handbook it has Windows on the partitions after the gentoo partitions. That way Windows will not take it all over. I believe that when Windows is on the first partition it rewrites all of the partitions after it. You should install XP first.Its easit if XP is on the fist partion of of the first drive. LIunx doesnt really care where ends up, with end reason. _________________ An A-Z Index of the Linux BASH command line |
