Ciao a tutti,
ho un problema gravissimo con il mio HD esterno (Lacie 160GB): durante la copia di file, la velocità passa dai 20MB/s per i primi 150MB di copia, per poi calare velocemente, fino a bloccarsi quasi del tutto! Per copiare 700MB impiego tempi inverosimili.
Utilizzo i gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.9-r3, con usb_storage (ho disattivato ub perché mi dava vari problemi).
Non è un problema dell'hardware perché con winxp tutto funziona perfettamente...

dmesg non dice assolutamente nulla di anomalo, /var/log/messages nemmeno.
Tutto dorme... eppure la copia va a rilento!

Usa l'ultimo kernel vanilla (2.6.10-rc3) e se fa ancora coi prova quelli di Andrew Morton (mm). Altrimenti posta sulla mailing list di usb-devel.
