Kernel Compile error

Hi, i am a first timer installing Gentoo. I started from stage 2 and now have problems compilnig the kernel. The compilation always ends with a Undefined Reference to 'Input event'

I had to entirely disable USB support to get a clear compile. Any advice on how i should enable the USB support?

However, if that doesn't help, please post the kernel config which gives you the error and also the exact error message that you get.
