Ich hab mir nen CD-Brenner mit Hilfe von diesem Guide eingerichtet. Er läuft soweit auch sehr gut. Es gibt bloss einen Haken:

Er steckt in einem externen USB-Gehäuse. Wenn ich jetzt den USB-Stecker ziehe, schmiert meine Kiste ab und sagt "Oops". Habe hotplug eigentlich korrekt installiert und läuft auch sonst...

Hat jemand ne Idee?

Hi,
Wenn du einen aktuellen 2.6er Kernel verwendest, sollte IMHO "coldplug" verwendet werden (im "default runlevel").

coldplug ist installiert und läuft im default runlevel - funzt trotzdem nicht...

Brenner vorher ungemountet oder verwendest du "ivman oder subfs"?

Wie genau schauen die Logs von "dmesg" "lsusb" voher und danach aus?

Verwende keines von den beiden. Ungemountet ist er.

Die sehen eigentlich ganz ok aus.
Bei lsusb taucht mein USB-Gehäuse mit
