Earlier on today I did an "emerge -uD world" as usual, and everything was fine immediately afterwards. However, I noticed when I shut the computer down that trying to stop network interfaces (lo and eth0 in my case) it produced an error about a missing variable being given to "iptunnel" (I can't remember the exact error).
I thought nothing of it then, but on startup I get the same error when starting network interfaces, which stops them being able to be used. So, at the moment, I have no internet access at all in Gentoo.
I haven't noticed any posts on the forums about it, so - is anyone else having this problem? What might have caused it, and is there a fix?
Thanks,
Tsuki

Ah, sorry I didn't notice that thread. Yeah, as predicted, the cause was me being dumb. I forgot to etc-update... |
