Hi!
I have problem when i try to install gentoo 2004.3-r1. I can't change root password because passwd is not found. Booting fails also. Kernel panic, command "mount" not found. Am I doing something wrong? About month ago when I installed 2004.2 everything was ok  |

Boot with the LiveCD, mount your partitions, chroot into your installed system, then try this
| Code: | | # emerge -pv system |
If any packages are listed, it means you have not finished installing the base system. You can run "emerge system" without the -pv to install the remaining packages. |
