hello, i've just installed gentoo using universal live cd 2004.3 on my g4 ibook
and i have a problem after trying to reboot the system.
By booting this msgs are showed:

and then no responce at all.

Could someone help me?

could you try to rebuild your kernel without serial port support?

anyway, if your G4 has serial ports and the kernel driver says they are supported, it is a bug and should be corrected.
