I installed this from livecd. Built kernel and booted. System comes up with "login" prompt. But key mapping is garbage. Is there an option during kernel building for mapping? The liveCD worked fine so it must be me. Used stage3 install.

You have the to set the KEYMAP in the

Code:

/etc/rc.conf

I use a Sunblade 100 too with kernel-2.6.6 : I can't shutdown the system
proprely. The system freeze and I have to shutdown the machine using
the switch power.
What about your machine with a 2.4 kernel ?
