Quake 3 Install

Hey ..anyone out there got a guide or something for installing quake 3. I've tried myself a few times but it refuses to start

. So I need help now

nope not really..but i've download the 1.32 PR and installed then copied the pak0.pk3 from the cd to where I've installed the 1.32 PR. When typing 'quake3' I get this error:

have you got the nvidia linux driver installed and configured?

what does lsmod say?
