my tv worked after i put teh user into the video group. radio is still missing. radio worked if i chmod 666 v4l/radio0, though that wont stay so till next uptime. what gorup must be joined or how to make the mode for v4l/radio0 permanent?

I had the same problem with mine and ended up having to change the file permissions in the local.start every boot up.

Let me know if you find a real solution. It seems to me that the device should really have its own group set like the video devices do so that you can add users to the group that have permission to use that radio.

i entered the username behind the video entry in ther file /etc/groups (see one of my prior posts in this thread). after this the tv worked. if thats not also a correct way to really add a user to a group please tell.
