Ciao a tutti...ho appena provato ad emergere GIMP ma sfortunatamente l'emersione si interrompe subito a causa di questi errori:

a me gtkglarea ha compilato senza problemi, sinceramente mi pare strana sta cosa...
con che flag CFLAGS stai compilando e su che architettura e con che versione di gcc?
(giusto per iniziare)

Grandioso Peach...effettivamente come era detto nel post che mi hai indicato non avevo caricato i moduli glx!!!

stesso errore?
per provare, visto che ti si pianta proprio su quel pacchetto (gtkglarea) potresti emergere direttamente solo quello, e poi riprendere con gimp.

mi da lo stesso errore anche cercando di emergere separatamente gtkglarea !!!

ora te hai aggiunto (se non ce l'avevi prima) qualcosa tipo
in Xorg.conf / XFree86.conf
ma hai anche aggiornato l'environment glx, come suggerito dal post che avevo linkato: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=154315&highlight=gtkglarea 
che scheda video hai?

Io ho una ATI Radeon 9200 ... e cercando sul portage ho visto che i glx x Ati non ci sono...o sbaglio???

@Peach: Avevo già provato a fare questi passaggi ma niente...il problema sussiste!!! Ora provo a smanettare un pò qua e là (così almeno spero di iniziare a prendere un pò la mano ) e poi vedo cosa riesco a combinare...

Trovata la soluzione...
Il comando che creava problemi, o meglio: non facevo risolvere il problema, era:
| Code: | rm /usr/lib/libGL.so
ln -s /usr/lib/[The old lib here (in my case libGL.so.1)] /usr/lib/libGL.so |
Non facendo questo passaggio ma limitandomi solo ai primi 2:
| Code: | ls -l /usr/lib/libGL.so
opengl-update xorg-x11
|
sono riuscito finalmente ad emerge Gimp !!!
