I'm using mozilla and firefox, and was wondering which plugin/library
is best for viewing Flash (animations, games, etc.).

As always, there are several to choose from, so which one do you
recomend?

Use netscape-flash. It works flawlessly. There is a GPL flash, but it only supports very old versions of flash, like version 3 or older. Current flash version is 7.

The flash that works best is emulating the Windows flash plugin with Crossover office. It's not free, and its almost not worth it, but it's the sad truth.

netscape-flash has problems with syncing the audio with the video. This is usually only noticable in very fast animations, but it can get annoying.

I've used netscape flash for years and have never had any problem. Currently my system is running net-www/netscape-flash 6.0.81.
