Hey everyone,
I'm trying to installing tulip-devel into my computer which I'm just installing gentoo. When I try to run 'emerge tulip-devel' it says that it can't be installed because it's masked by keyword
I read the emerge man page and it said to add the varable ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" to override. I tried adding that into the /etc/make.conf file. It comes up with the variable when I type 'emerge -v info', but I still can't build the package.
I'm new to gentoo, can someone give me a way around this? |

Hey again.
Well, I tried all of that without any luck. It doesn't say that it's masked because of "~keyword" which is what I think you were expecting. It was masked because of missing keyword
I found another post on another site with this same problem. I ended up compiling the tulip module when configuring the kernel. I thought I had tried that but I overlooked it somehow.
Thank you for trying to help. |
