xorg question

Hi all recently i compiled successfully kde 3.3.1 but with xfree 4.3.0 Now i have the gentoo 2004.3 packages cd which contains xorg-6.8.0-r1 .If i remove xfree and compile xorg will i have any problem?(such as recompile kde or other packages)

You won't have to compile any packages when you install xorg. You will however have to reinstall your graphics drivers. If you use nvidia you shouldn't have a problem, but ATI cards still have serious problems with xorg 6.8.
