Loggin in iptables?

Hello
When you are putting "$IPTABLES -A INPUT -j LOG" last in the iptables file, will it log _everything_ on INPUT, or just those INPUT packets that already havent been caught by an ACCEPT or DROP?

If you put that statement last, it will only log what hasn't been caught by previous statements.
