Err....title says it all really.........
i stupidly (yes i'm still a n00b really) forgot step 21 of the x86 install guide
now using emerge is a bit problamatic without an internet connection....
how do i get my eth0 to start on boot-up so i get an internet connection ?
It was auto-detected during install if that helps
p.s. first post.....sorry if this is a dumb question but i did try searching first

If you just skipped that step, then you can log into your Gentoo system, and do that step... If you did everything else correctly, then I don't see no trouble at all in doing that.
Although from your post, I'd have to ask, did you add support for your ethernet card on the kernel? _________________ Lego my ego, and I'll lego your knowledge
