While emerging xorg-x11 I had this problem while emerging one of the dependencies:

Question: What is the purpose of "ttmkfdir" and of "php"?

Any advice would be appreciated on emerging these:)

ttmkfdir i think extracts font meta data from tt fonts in a dir.
php is php hyper text processor :)

ttmkfdir might be a dep.
what are your use flags? php should not be a dep
