hi,

bei meinem emerge -up world kam folgendes raus was ich nicht will:
Code:

[ebuild     U ] sys-devel/libperl-5.8.5 [5.8.4-r1]
[ebuild     U ] dev-lang/perl-5.8.5-r2 [5.8.4-r1]
[ebuild     U ] dev-libs/openssl-0.9.7d-r2 [0.9.7d-r1]

also stopfe ich es in die datei:

/etc/portage/profile/package.provided

mit folgendem inhalt:

Code:
sys-devel/libperl-5.8.5
dev-lang/perl-5.8.5-r2
dev-libs/openssl-0.9.7d-r2

aber es will trotzdem emerged werden.

wie kommt denn dies?

Die Einträge gehören in package.mask, siehe http://www.gentoo.de/main/de/portage-2.0.51.xml

Mach lieber
Code:

$ emerge -uDp world

als Vorschau, zum emergen dann natürlich ohne das 'p' :wink:
