pseries 64bit Userland and Kernel, 1 off 32bit apps?

Hi everyone,

So I'm running the full 64 bit kernel and userland on IBM blades and have run into a bug in the 64bit build of the IBM JDK which is preventing certain applications from running with JIT enabled.

Is there any way to do a 1 off installation of the 32bit JDK without resorting to switching to the full ppc32 userland? Unfortunetely this is an IBM JDK bug that I just can't work around, I need to be able to use the JIT compiler. I'd be interested in hearing everyone's opinion on the matter :-)
