Salut, j'ai gdesklets-core en ~x86 que je voudrais mettre à jour. Je n'utilise plus gnome et ne veut donc plus rien installer de ceci. Or lors d'un emerge -ua desklets-core j'ai ceci :

tu a mis "-gnome" en USE flags?
Je pense pas que ca supprimera toutes les dependances, car gdesklets a besoin de certains paquets gnome, mais ca en virera quand meme un peu... j'espère  |

| Code: | package.provided
A list of packages (one per line) that portage should
assume have been provided. Useful for porting to non-
Linux systems. Portage will not attempt to update a
package that is listed here unless another package
explicitly requires a version that is newer than what has
been listed. Basically, it's a list that replaces the
emerge --inject syntax.
For example, if you manage your own copy of a 2.6 kernel,
then you can tell portage that 'sys-kernel/development-
sources-2.6.7' is already taken care of and it should get
off your back about it.
Format:
- comments begin with #
- one DEPEND atom per line
- relational operators are not allowed
- must include a version
Example:
# you take care of the kernel
sys-kernel/development-sources-2.6.7

Excuse mon français... Ça fait longtemps.
J'ai présisément le même problème que Fafounet: j'ai donc écrit mon alternative:
adesklets. http://sourceforge.net/project/screenshots.php?group_id=126227
Ça marche très bien pour moi... Évidemment, comme je viens de le rendre public,
il n'y a qu'une seule applet écrite....

Tu n'as pas de problèmes de fonctionnement ?
Etant developpé à la base pour gnome, ça me semblait à peu près normal qu'il yait des librairies de gnome.

C'est cool ça, j'avais aussi envie d'avoir un beau bureau mais sans pour autant devoir installé KDE ou Gnome.
C'est bientôt dans portage ?

adesklets a l'air bien en effet mais bien que la compilation se soit faite parfaitement (la première fois que j'arrive à compiler quelque chose sans ebuild !!), le script python ne trouve pas le module 
EDIT : ça marche !! il falais faire :
