Hi everyone,

evolution2 usually takes the data of evolution 1.x and transforms it. I need to retrieve an old 1.x database and make evolution2 transform it again as if it was just updated. How can I do this? Just deleting the data doesnt help.

Search google for this, it is covered :)

You could also try opening gconf-editor and goto apps> evolution
change the last_version to 1.4, copy your old evo data to ~/evolution and start evolution. It should trigger the migration wizard. Shouldn't have to change the "last_version" in gconf after runing the wizard, should do it automagically.

Good luck

Unfortunatelly this doesnt help. Believe me I did search the web and I found nothing. If you did find anything or know some more than tell me. I am trying to solve the problem for three days with no results so far.
