ultimamente non riesco a montare partizioni fat con kernel 2.6!
il kernel sta apposto! Ho messo ciò che gli serviva sia per ntfs, sia per fat!
me lo fa sia con una partizione che ho sull'HD, sia con la penna usb!
quello che mi interessa di più però e la pennina!
ho provato a fare anche mount -t vfat /dev/sdf1 /mnt/pen!
mi dice:
wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdf1, or too many mounted file systems

sono sicuro che esiste sdf1!
come potrei provarvelo?
se faccio ls /dev/sd e premo due volte il tab mi da
sd sda sdb sdf sdf1
se la metto su un' altra porta mi da
sd sda sdb sdg sdg1
calcolate che ho un macello di porte usb! |

io non sapevo cosa scegliere li ho compilati tutti come moduli, c'è differenza oltre la classica built-in più reattivo kernel più grosso, modulare meno reattivo kernel piu piccolo? |

Bhe... e' anche una questione di fede. Posso solo dirti che il mio lsmod ha solo il driver nvidia e nient'altro. Ci sono vantaggi e svantaggi nell'avere un kernel modulare, ma sulle macchine di oggi dove lo spazio non e' un problema e dove e' raro avere la necessita' di avere kernel su un floppy non vedo perche' non si possa fare built-in

Consiglio per la prossima volta: se avessi cercato meglio nei forum avresti trovato la soluzione visto che ci sono molti 3ds a riguardo
