I've noticed that Foobillard 2.1 is out, with a lot of improvements over version 1.5, which is currently the newest ebuild. It'd be cool if the ebuild could be updated to install 2.1!
Do ebuilds have maintainers btw? Because it seems like there are qutie a few ebuilds that are out of date... |

Foobillards segfaults on me, even if I download the latest source and compile it. Any ideas?

Just installed it, I don't notice much difference in performance over 2.0 with rendered textures. There is now a funky crosshair on the cueball though. As for an ebuild, I just downloaded the source from the site, put it into /usr/portage/distfiles and did | Code: | cd /usr/portage/app-games/foobillard/
cp foobillard-1.5.ebuild foobillard-2.2.ebuild
ebuild foobillard-2.2.ebuild digest
emerge foobillard |
and sorted. I really can't stand the standard fonts in foobillard, you can change them to truetype font you like by replacing bluebold.ttf, iomanoid.ttf and youregon.ttf in /usr/share/foobillard with your desired font(s). Heres the fonts I like: bluebold.ttf iomanoid.ttf youregon.ttf and looks like this:
