Edit to the above

Also, it says above the error configure error: C++ preprocessor ... "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check See config.log. I looked in there nut there was nothing in it. It also says configure error: /bin/sh './configure' fialied for autoconf-lib-link

Thanks

Emerge the kernel with the following:

Code:
USE="-doc" emerge gentoo-sources

With luck, this should fix your problems.

No that did not work. It starts to calulate dependencies, Emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "gentoo-sourcesls".

Thanks

I know I looked at it twice when i saw that. Now I am running emerge --fetchonly system

And it started ot fine, but now it is haveing a problem connecting to some of tyhe servers and it gives up and moves on to the next one.

This is a bummer, I have not had one error until i got to this point.

Thanks
