I have been unsuccessfull transfering this particular script to kppp settings
/etc/ppp/peers/1xevdo file
Code: | -detach
ttyUSB0
115200
debug
noauth
defaultroute
usepeerdns
user your_telephone_number@vzw3g.com
show-password
crtscts
lock
connect '/usr/sbin/chat -v -t3 -f /etc/ppp/peers/1xevdo_chat' |
/etc/ppp/peers/1xevdo_chat file
Code: | '' 'AT'
'OK' 'ATE0V1&F&D2&C1&C2S0=0'
'OK' 'ATE0V1'
'OK' 'ATS7=60'
'OK' 'ATDT#777' |
The script works fine when executed via sudo or root, but kppp with default settings either hangs with 'expecting: OK', or closes with out writing anything to log. The terminal mode from [configure modem] responds with OK when invoked, and will take the commands from the 1xevdo_chat manually, but not when invoked via [Connect].
Any ideas of where I can begin to look is very much appreciated
P.S.
Thank you Phil Karn for the scrip and console How-To _________________ I'm still learning, so I guess that means I'm still alive |
