Ciao a tutti sto creando uno script per monatare e smontare ogni tot tempo delle partizioni nfs remote. il problema sta nel mount, se infatti l'host è down sta in attesa ore... sapete dirmi come settare il timeout del mount? leggendo il man non ci sono riuscito

soft This option allows the kernel to time out if the nfs server is not responding for some time. The time can be specified with timeo=time. This option might be useful if your nfs server sometimes doesn't respond or will be rebooted while some process tries to get a file from the server. Usually it just causes lots of trouble. |

c'è che "per far prima" mi ero letto il man in italiano su pluto... e dice un'altra cosa..

mount -t nfs -o soft -o timeo=1 192.168.1.253:/home/ftp /mnt/192.168.1.253
ho riprovato ma resta in attesa ancora una cifra...
