as far as 2.4 go it's better to prevent intrussions then to detect them :]

i'm talking about owl patches for 2.4 kernels of course


IDS is just a feature ... I want my kernel to be stable and as lightweight as possuble ...that's why I'm not using Selinux or LIDS.

That topic quallifies for "other things gentoo" more then here ;]
