I have a Belkin Nostromo N45 USB gamepad that I'd like to get operational with gentoo. I've compiled my kernel for gamepad/joystick and USB compatibility but am not having any luck getting it to function or finding any drivers that work with it, or finding any info on the net. Any ideas? Anyone else using this pad with linux?
Thanks! |

yes, i have the same model and you'll be pleased to know it works with no problems under gentoo.
you need usb human interface device support and "hid input layer support" enabled in your kernel. maybe try disabling gamepad support, too...i have no idea whether this would cause any conflicts, but i know that i had my nostromo n45 gamepad working with just the standard joystick and hid drivers.
good luck! |
