Ciao,
Esiste mica un tool che mi analizzi in tempo reale i movimenti della posta sul server mail... sendmail o qmail...
Un programma che mi possa mostrare delle statistiche su tutti i movimenti di posta: a chi.. da chi.. peso: delle mailbox?
Che generi dei report...
insomma un tool completo attorno al mailserver che permetta un controllo e un analisi totale del server stesso. (e delle mailbox da lui gestite). |

"awstats" fa al caso tuo, ed è pure in portage, ma non l'ho mai provato per le statistiche mail, solo per le statistiche web

durante l'installazione mi chiede:

/usr/share/webapps/awstats/6.1/hostroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -update -config=myvirtualserver

/usr/local/awstats/tools/awstats_updateall.pl now

Il primo cosa?
O metto il comando indicato nel cron (come suggerito) oppure, se tu hai numerosi file di confgurazione e preferisci avere solo un comando metti in crontab quel awstats_update.pl

Il fatto che le righe sopra contengano tutti quegli strani asterischi non spinge le tue manine a digitare:
Comunque c'é un'altro post di oggi dove si parla del crontab...

Non e' quello che vuoi ma giusto per compendio ISOQLOG http://www.enderunix.org/isoqlog/ e' veramente caruccio per collezionare statistiche.
Io lo uso sul mio mail-server (qmail) sul quale transitano mediamente circa 93.000 email al gg e non fa una piega  |
