|
|
I am using the Gigabyte GA-K8VM800M mobo with Realtek 8100C 10/100Mbs LAN and I am unable to get it to work with my stage 3 gentoo install.
I am using a pci card now. but even after I disable my onboard LAN in my BIOS it still picks up my pci card as eth1.
I am able to connect to the net on eth1, but instead of changing configurations in things such as SSH to use eth1 I would like to make my pci card eth0.
Any suggestions on how I can stop it from seeing my on board LAN and make my pci card the default LAN?
Thanks- _________________ AMD64 2800+
