.forward with qmail/vpopmail

i followed this guide to get my mail server up and running: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/qmail-howto.xml

one of the users would like their mail forwarded. i have dot-forward installed, and have found documentation on how to use .forward files with regular unix mail accounts, but not with virtual mail accounts. where can i find documentation on this?

vpopmail does virtual user forwarding. qmailadmin can be used to administer forwards (and regular accounts).
