|
|
I am currently installing stage1 gentoo with nptl and reiser4 partitions. I booted off Ixnay's RR4 v2.10 LiveCD which, from what I understand, uses a 2.6 kernal and is patched for reiser4 support. I am at the stage of configuring my kernal, but the kernal version is linux-2.6.9-gentoo-r10 which looks to me like a standard 2.6 gentoo kernal and I don't see any references to reiser4 in the config menu. How do I select the kernal form the cd? It isn't too late for this is it? Thanks for any help. |

The kernel guide can help you with choosing a kernel version.
From what you have written, it seems, however, that you need reiser4 support. I don't think any of the kernels available on the Portage tree have reiser4 support (I may be mistaken).
You might be interested in checking out nitro-sources, which provide reiser4 support. _________________ Hello. |

Code: | # emerge mm-sources |
This one includes reiser4 support. |
