I'm using Enlightenment DR16 and I'm pretty satisfied with it except that when I click or scroll in a window it always comes to front (like in MS Windows), I only want it to come to front when I click on the title/border of the window or double-click in the window.

Orginally when I installed it some weeks ago it had such behaviour but after I had fiddled around with the settings it stopped acting as it did from the beginning and now I can't find the right settings again.

Could anyone tell me what setting I should change or atleast point me in the right direction?

Hi,

try this:
Rightclick on the desktop and chose the menuentry "Focus Settings". You should disable "Clicking in a Window always raises it".
In some other Menus (available via rightclick) there are some "raise" setting, maybe you wanna play around with them, too.

Hope that helps

If all you want is really the "standart enlightement bahavior" you could always do
Code:
mv .enlightenment enlightenment_backup/

And start it up again.
Then just copy your .menu files (the ones for the left-clicki-menus) back to .enlightenment.

Edit: I _always_ forget to close my brackets. Damn I love Python for not forcing me to use those...

right click on your desktop, look for the menu that says "Autoraise" turn the setting off. Now when you want a window to come in to focus, you have to click on it. I just tested it. It works perfectly.
