I just bought a Gigabyte K8 Triton GA-K8NS computer, and it features the network adapter mentioned in the heading. With the forcedeth driver I am able to get the interface up (so I can see it using ifconfig) and everything seem to be working fine, except I can not access anything else on the net.
I'm using a stock 2004.3 x86 install. Any ideas which driver actually works, or where I can get one that does?
Thanks,
Marius K. |

Found a workaround. Boot with "noapic", and it just works. Looks like it is using the forcedeth driver. It seems forcing the forcedeth driver without "noapic" does not help - have to deactivate "noapic" and then everything works just fine. |
