Ho emerso il pacchetto acerhk ma quando provo a caricare il modulocon il comando

come sugerisce l'emerge ma mi restituisce
| Code: | | FATAL: Module acerhk not found. |
Dove sbaglio? che posso fare?

Ciao anche io ho lanciato il tuo stesso comando da xterm, fortunatamente non mi dà errore però non so proprio come utilizzare il tool...

quale tool?
se ti riferisci a acerhk (è un driver non un tool..) è tutto scritto nella documentazione...
cmq in
| Code: | | /proc/driver/acerhk/ |
trovi alcuni pseudo-files che ti danno la possibilità di accendere/spegnere i led del tuo laptop (se ne è provvisto)
poi dovresti mappare i tasti (che ora il driver dovrebbe aver reso disponibili)
ricavando i codici con xev e mettendoli in:

Ok grazie però il modello del mio notebook è diverso da quelli citati. Ho un Acer TravelMate 291LMi. Però essendo Acer a livello generale dovrebbe essere almeno simile no ?

nn ci vuole tanto a verificare apri il sorgente del driver dovrebbe esserci uno switch case enorme con i modelli supportati...
cmq il mio anche quando il supporto non era presente andava.
nota che allo stato attuale il driver non è piu' sviluppato dall'autore

 Azz ho dimenticato a scriverlo, era che avvevo compilato il nuovo kernel ed ancora però non utilizzavo quindi il modulo lo aveva installato per il nuovo kernel quindi non lo vedeva il modprobe |
