Hi everyone
I'm having trouble setting up my Epson Stylus C42 usb printer.
I've read the The Gentoo guide to Printing but I couldn't get it to work. I then read A n00b's guide to set up printing with CUPS and I now have cups running but the printer still isn't working
I've managed to get cups running but when I try to print a test page I the following error is displayed on the localhost:631 webpage:
Code: | "Fatal error: Unable to find driver named "escp2-c42ux"!"
/usr/share/cups/model/ contains the file escp2-c42ux.ppd. What am I doing wrong? |
