alsa NIE jest wkompilowana w kernel jest jako modul , rekompilowalem kernel wiele razy w miedzyczasie i ciagle jest to samo , zarowno dla dev-sources jak i vivid (vv)
w .config'u jest wszytko jak trzeba moduy itd

no to ja moze o tych oczywistych 
po co emergowac driver alsy z portage skoro jest on w kernelu ( 2.6.x ) i mozna go skompilowac zarowno jako static i jako modul.
chyba ze jest sens takiego dzialania i po prostu o nim nie wiem ?

alsa-driver jest pakietem dla kerneli z serii 2.4
alsa-driver JEST juz w jajku 2.6 - i beda wychodzic takie kwiatki.
